Angel Kristi Williams
Angel Kristi Williams is an award-winning writer and director from West Baltimore, Maryland. Inspired by a VHS camcorder gifted by her late father at age eight, she developed a unique cinematic voice rooted in visual storytelling and the nuanced power of silence.
Her feature debut, Really Love, earned Special Jury Recognition for Acting at SXSW. Angel has been distinguished as a Sundance Momentum Fellow and recognized by Film Independent Project Involve and ReFrame Rise. She won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Creative in Directing for her work on Netflix’s Colin in Black and White.
